Our Story
Some of the most beautiful things in life are born in the most unexpected places.
Ours was born in a bedroom, between the exhaustion of chemotherapy — with a bag of colorful beads and the determined hands of a mother who refused to let cancer steal her joy.
In 2023, I (Von) was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. My daughter pulled out a bag of beads and said, "Mama, let's make something beautiful."
And so we did.
What started as a way to pass the hours of recovery became our healing, our hope, and our happy place in the hardest storm we had ever faced.
In 2024 — remission. We held each other and kept creating.
Then 2025 — Stage 4. Most people would have put the beads away. We picked up more.
In 2026, by the grace of God — remission again.
And still, we create. Still, we sparkle. Still, we shine.
